Clustering and Segmentation (with visuals)



Econometricus has more than five years delivering targeting analytics that deal with multiple levels of granularity -mostly for pharmaceutical products. It depends on your choice preference, however, in pharma we usually run the following segmentations:

  1. Sales Volume Potential
  2. Product Affinity and Potential
  3. Behavioral Engagement and Preferences

The methods vary across data types and data quality. Contingent upon data, I often fit the following models for segmentation:

  1. K-Means Clustering
  2. Individual Fixed Effect Regression Model
  3. Non-Stochastic Hypothetical Deductive Model
